Books on my Spring 2021 TBR | Top Ten Tuesday

top ten tuesday

Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.

This week’s prompt is Books On My Spring 2021 TBR. In my previous I have shared my MARCH TBR which I have to say is not doing so good with me right now. I am reading some backlogged ARCs and I need to read them somehow. But with that being said, I have read a different list of books to read that is far from my March TBR. Below will be some romance, fantasy and anything feel good books, I think.

🍀 The Shape of You by Georgia Beers

This has been released for years but I am glad that I have read this just last week. It was not my cup of tea but I enjoyed the story. I went into this book blind even if that was the reason why I requested the book in the first place. I think I just forgot what it was about, hence going in blind. I didn’t know that this book was about female-female relationship and that is something I don’t usually gravitate into. But glad that I enjoyed the book. I also love the fact that it tackles about exercise that usually I don’t enjoy but it was nice that despite it being exercise but it still like the message it gives. I love that it tackles positivity with your body and how that should be a priority.

🍀 Finding Balance by Kati Gardner

The next book has a really beautiful cover, in terms of the color and the message it is sending. It tackles about cancer and disability and how everyone sees this illness. I adore how this book, so far, I have started it and it is taking me awhile but I am enjoying it. I like how things are going and understanding the struggles that went through. I also love seeing and understanding how people perceive this illness and how they also discriminate and judge those that has disabilities. It’s sad that that is the reality no matter how hard we try to deny it. We also seldom see stories about survivors of this cruel sickness. We don’t see their struggles in life or if their life have picked up since they got cancer-free. And this book just did it for me.

🍀 The Bro Code by Elizabeth A. Seibert

The Bro Code (Paperback) by Elizabeth Seibert

I found this book sitting on the newly added books last year and I didn’t know this was a wattpad book that got picked up to be published physically. I only found out about it a few months ago. And I just cannot help but read this book. I’m a huge reader on Wattpad back in High School but stopped because I discovered international books. But I always go back to Wattpad for some easy and fast reads, most especially because I write books too, and I published them on wattpad. I don’t know what this book is completely about but I know I would be reading it ths month. I hope I could read it next though.

🍀 A Song Below Water by Bethany C. Morrow

A Song Below Water (A Song Below Water, #1) by Bethany C. Morrow

I am really looking forward to reading this book because I love me some mermaid books and this one is one of them. I have no idea what this book has in store for me but at least that is something about mermaids and underwater.

But if judge it by the cover, which isn’t the best choice, but I am loving it and how this is going to be a really good book. I know that the diversity would be present in this book just by looking at the cover.

🍀 Fable and Namesake by Adrienne Young

Namesake (Fable, #2) by Adrienne Young

These two books has been on my radar since it got released and now the second book is out now and I just can’t help but want to read them now. I have actually started this book upon writing this blog and I am excited. I honestly have no idea what this book is completely about but I am looking forward to read it because it is said to be about mermaids and underwater. And if you know me, you’d know that I love me some mermaid or underwater books.
