Purple, Yellow and Green Books On My Shelf That I Love or Need to Read ASAP | Top Ten Tuesday

top ten tuesday

Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.

This week’s prompt is Purple, Yellow, and Green books or Mardi Gras. So I have decided to select the purple, yellow, and green books on my shelf that either I love or I need to read ASAP. I’m grouping them by color and adding a special section that features some Filipino books that I loved so dearly. Of course, they have to be in theme, yellow, green, and purple Filipino books.

First up is the only YELLOW book (that is not Filipino) on this list:

🍉 Kingdom of Ash by Sarah J. Maas

This is the conclusion of the Throne of Glass series. It has been out for quite some time now and I have not read it. So this is here because I need to read it ASAP. I have plans to read it this month, which I think would be possible after reading ACOSF. I have mentioned this book a lot of times in this blog, saying I’d be reading it soon or whatnot. But this month would be the month. And I am claiming that because I mine just be in the mood to read it.

Next up are the PURPLE books on my shelf. Two of which I have read and loved while the other one has been on and off my TBR for the last 2 years.

🍒 Once in For All by Sarah Dessen

This book has been on my TBR pile for the last 2 years. I have been wanting to read it but I have not found the motivation to read it right now. But I know eventually, it will be read, somehow.

🍓 My Lady Jane by Jodi Meadows, Cynthia Hand and Brodi Ashton

This was a recent addition to my shelf but I adore this book since I read it a few years ago. I love it so much that I cannot help but grab a copy when I found a really good deal. I enjoyed everything in this book and I didn’t expect to love it because it is a retelling of a classic book.

🥝 Happily Ever After by Keira Cass

This book is really good book to have if you really enjoy The Selection series. It ties up some loose ends and I really appreciate it that the author have released more novellas than she has released prior.

The next color is GREEN. In this pile, I have two read books that I adore and one book that is on my CURRENTLY READING stack.

🍉 Since You’ve Been Gone by Morgan Matson

This book was such a good read and I adore it so much. I kept thinking how losing a friend would feel like and trying to get that friend back was something I got from this book. It might not fully be the same as what I have experience but it was the closest thing I could ask for.

🍒 Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell

I really connect with this book because it is about a girl who writes fan fiction and I personally write fan fictions to back in my high school days. I love recalling and remembering those good ol’ days.

🍓 A Heart So Fierce and Broken by Brigid Kemmerer

I am currently reading this book and I am enjoying it. I adore the first book and that is the only thing I could say about it. I wanna see more from this world and how things would play out of the true heir of the kingdom, as well as the one reigning it at the moment.

Then next are the books by Filipino authors in GREEN, PURPLE, and YELLOW. I adore these books and would really recommend them if you enjoy some Filipino written books. Even if these books are originally written on wattpad, but they are really good reads. I adore all three of these and would read more from this publishing house because they publish really good books.

🍉 The Substitute Bride by Sweetblunch
🍒 AFGITMOLFM by Pilosopotasya
🍓 Accidentally in Love with a Gangster by marielicious
