Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.
This week’s prompt is 2021 Resolutiosn/Hopes . I know it is 12 days into 2021 but I believe it is never too late to set a resolutions. I have already set my 2021 bookish resolutions and I have not shared those here yet. So this is the perfect time to do so!
2021 Bookish Resolutions
READ 50 BOOKS
Last year I had a goal of 50 books and actually surpassed it. I was over the moon but I had a hidden or secret goal of 75 books but that was achieved too. I managed to read 86 books, so I am making it 50 books with of course a hidden goal of 80 books. Can I do it? Maybe, we’ll see you at the end of the 2021.
READ MORE DIVERSE BOOKS
I have not read diverse books last year and I believe I have read just a few but not much. I just want to read other books that isn’t white washed or close minded ones because that is just not good for me.
READ POC WRITTEN BOOKS AND BOOKS WITH POC CHARACTERS
I have read a few books by other ethnicity but I have read a few Filipino books but that is just it. I am really going to read more books written by other authors. (If you have any recommendations, please let me know
POST MORE BOOK REVIEWS ON BOOKSTAGRAM AND BLOG
I have not posted any reviews on my bookstagram account in a long while. I have posted at least a few reviews on my blog but I need to post more. We’ll see how that goes. So far I have created templates that I could use to post mini reviews on my stories.
ONLY BUY A NEW BOOK AFTER READING 3 BOOKS FROM MY PHYSICAL SHELF
I want to do this so I could make a huge dent into my physical TBR. Should I share the books on my shelf that I have not read yet? But so far, I am failing with this because I already bought 4 books and only read 4 books and not one of those is a book on my physical shelf. But I am going to change that because I need to be really serious with my goal.

I like the idea of only allowing yourself a new book once you’ve read 3 that you already have. Excellent plan!
I’m not all that good with Bookstagram and maybe I should try to pay more attention.

Bookstagram is hard right now. You need to be more active and interactive. But if you just like sharing your thoughts and taking bookish photos, it is a good place to be.

Great list! I need to work on getting my TBR down (theres definitely some that’s been there for more than two year! Oops.) and good luck with only buying a book after reading three 😂 ! I am really failing the buying a book after reading three books. I’d love to see your top ten albums. I have a boring taste in music because I only listen to at least 5 different artist/groups.

These are great goals! I also want to post more reviews this year. I’m not great about writing about what I read because I don’t take a lot of notes. Templates are definitely helpful. Good luck!
