Books I Want to Reread Again and Again [Top Ten Tuesday]

top ten tuesday

Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.

This week’s prompt is Books I Want to Read Again. It is either books I want to read again or books I want to read for the very first time. I personally enjoy rereading books which isn’t a good idea because I need to make a huge dent on my physical TBR. But then again, I couldn’t help but relive those stories again and again and see how my thoughts would change or not change one reread after the other.

Let’s start of the list with my favorite books to reread any time of the year or when I feel like rereading a favorite.

1. A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J. Maas

As the newest installment of the series, it is expected that most of us would rereading the first four books in the series before jumping into A Court of Silver Flames, even if we all know that it is a different story and has different leads. But as a fan, you’d really want to reread this series and just want to actually reread it as if you didn’t read before hand.

2. To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before by Jenny Han

I have read this book more than 3 times already since the day I first picked up the first book. I personally just want to relive the entire book and see if how my opinions would change as a year passes. I have reread the books before their movie gets out because I just want to watch the movie when I know exactly what happened in the book compared to the movie.

3. The Selection by Kiera Cass

This series is not everyone’s favorite but it is a great guilty pleasure read. I just enjoying the rereading process of this book. I cannot wait for the movie or tv show adaptation because that would be the time I would reread it after rereading it a few years ago when the two new books were released.

4. Me Before You by Jojo Moyes

I have actually reread this book twice but I just felt like I need to reread it again and actually finish the rest of the books that are already out. I have a copy of the second book now and I just want to reread and see Lou’s life. But then again I am scared that I won’t be able to get through it because I cannot imagine life with Will because Will was the reason why Lou became a better version of herself.

5. Throne of Glass by Sarah J. Maas

So this well loved series is also well loved by me but then again I have yet to read the last book of this installment, which would come out a shocker for you. The sole reason why I have not divided into Kingdom of Ash is because I am just not ready to say goodbye to these characters and world. But this is a series I want to reread again because I am one of those that is not a huge fan of the Aelin and Rowan romance. I still prefer Aelin ending up with either Chaol or Dorian.

6. All Your Perfects by Colleen Hoover

I have actually reread this recently because I read the sequel of this book, and Finding Cinderella, Finding Perfect this year and just want to relive how things went through with the first book. I just want to see how much I would still relate to this story year after year because as much as I don’t want to experience the struggles they went through but it is something that I need to think about and make the necessary changes in my life to not experience those in the future.

  1. So glad to see both of Sarah J. Maas’ main series on someone else’s post! She gets so much hate in the book community these days that I almost feel bad for still loving her books so much haha. ACOMAF is my biggest comfort read, though!

  2. I typically don’t re-read because I have so much on my TBR. Although, I’m wondering if I should try to change that and I LOVE your whole list because those are all books that I would love to re-read! 🙂

  3. I read the ACOTAR series back in August and I can’t wait to re-read them before A Court of Silver Flame comes out! And I feel the same way about Aelin and Rowan. But I’m still on book 5.
