Dystopian Books to Read during this Global Crisis [Top Ten Tuesday]

top ten tuesday

Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.

This week’s prompt is Genre Freebie.  That gives us the opportunity to talk about genres that we are interested in. So for today’s prompt, I’m going to share some dystopian books that you could read during this quarantine season.

I have read at least 50% of those books and really enjoyed them.  They seems so scary if some of those would happen in our world.  Despite how scary this crisis is, I still stay positive that it will end soon and everything would be back to normal.  And despite all these scary news, books are my way to get out of that state of mind and relax.

Anyway, I hope you are staying indoors and stay as healthy as possible. Let’s pray that this pandemic would end as soon as possible.

    1. Oh yes! And some think it’s time to read those books but some thinks it would just add up to their anxiety in this difficult times.

  1. I’m reading Scythe right now, and it’s totally weird since there is no disease in their “world” and ours is being heavily impacted by it right now. I made a list like this for TTT too! 🙃
