Hello bibliophiles! I’m thankful of a lot of this this year. I’ve been through a lot of ups and downs this year but all throughout those I came out better and stronger. With that, it’s time to do a little bookish thanksgiving book tag!
This tag was created by Fangirlscity over on Booktube. If you want to see the original tag, check this link.
BREAD – what book is purely fluff and has no real plot line?
As far as I know I don’t if I’ve read a book that is purely fluff and no plot line. So, let’s skip this portion of the tag, and I might skip a few more later on.
TURKEY – what book made you want to fall asleep?
Match Me If You Can by Tiana Smith is a book that is not boring but it is something that I didn’t read once I feel sleepy. Unlike most of the books I’ve read this past few days.
GRAVY – what book makes the whole series worth reading?
A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J. Maas is a really great book and it really makes you want to read the entire series. A lot of people might not enjoy the novella that was released recently.
STUFFING – what book is stuffed full of action scenes?
A Court of Wings and Ruin by Sarah J. Maas, as the conclusion of a trilogy, this book was filled with such actions that when you blink for more than a second, you’d miss the events happening. (But that is my own opinion)
CRANBERRIES – what book has the sweetest romance?
To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before by Jenny Han. I love the romance with Peter Kavinsky and Lara Jean in these books. They just make swoon so much!
CORN – what’s the corniest book you’ve ever read?
I dunno which book is corny. So, let’s just skip this portion.
GREEN BEANS – what book is too long and needs to be shortened?
I believe the Shatter Me series should be shortened. Ever since the release of the fourth and fifth book I haven’t tried to read them. I’m scared of reading it because of the mixed reviews the books are getting.
PUMPKIN PIE – what book do you read to get out of a reading slump?
The Selection Trilogy by Kiera Cass, this book has been a guilty pleasure book that when I have a reading slump, I just browse through the books and just want to reread the entire series again!
DOG/CAT – what’s your favorite Thanksgiving food that you wold steal from the table?
As a Filipino, the first thing that I would steal from the table has to be Lumpia or Spring Rolls. They are my favorites and I couldn’t imagine not having them on special occasions. I even try to make it into my daily meal. That is how much I love Lumpia, may it be vegetable lumpia or shanghai.
And that concludes my take on the Bookish Thanksgiving Book Tag. I hope you enjoyed that. I actually was struggling to answer those questions because I don’t know if those books fall on those tags.
If you’re reading this tag, consider yourself tagged!
